The Food Safety and Agricultural Research Center aims to establish the necessary technological infrastructure to conduct advanced research in food safety and agricultural studies, in line with national and international standards. The center focuses on conducting advanced research on all types of factors that pose risks to food safety. This includes the development of advanced research methods and technologies to address the risks associated with food safety.
Recognizing the significant gap in our region for a specialized institution focusing on the determination of toxic chemical substances and agricultural research, the Department of Food Engineering submitted an R&D project to the State Planning Organization in 2008. Upon the acceptance of the project, its implementation began in 2009.
